When I started Planned with Purpose in November, I told the Lord to do with it whatever He wanted. I surrendered my plans before I even began. My only prayer was that He wouldn’t give me more than I could handle with all the other hats I wear.
Then, two and a half weeks ago, I decided to try making shirts—just for friends and family at first—until I decided to post them on my page.
What happened next has been bigger than I expected, especially this quickly. But I can see the Lord’s hand all over it.
The very first day I started, I walked into a store and found a huge sale on shirts. Every trip after that, I stocked up—6, 12, sometimes more at a time—building inventory at prices that let me keep my shirts affordable for you.
When orders started taking off, I went back needing more, knowing the sale had ended… only to find it had been extended another week.
Then, after that sale was over, I walked into another store and found shirts marked nearly 90% off—which is what made my long sleeve sale possible.
And today, it happened again.
On the drive home, excitedly telling my husband and mom about the deal I found, I felt the Lord whisper to my heart:
"Will you let Me use your business to show off?"
That filled me with so much joy.
My heart has never been to get rich. If anything, it’s the opposite. I want to take the blessings the Lord keeps placing in my hands and pour them back out—to make custom shirts more affordable, bless others, and let Him get the glory.
I’m excited to see where He takes this journey.
